Remote Instruction Day - Feb. 17 (Weather)
jlavigueur@d181.org

Due to the winter storm warning for the area that will be in effect tomorrow - Thursday, Feb. 17 - D181 school buildings will be closed and students will participate in instruction remotely.

The forecast is calling for periods of heavy snow, rain, freezing temperatures, and wind. Our surrounding Districts are also moving to remote learning, which we anticipate would compound the staffing issues we have experienced throughout the year. Afterschool activities have also been canceled.

  • With the exception of staff who have unique responsibilities, all D181 staff may work from home. Buildings will be closed.
  • Attendance will be taken and students are expected to attend all classes virtually unless they have submitted an absence on the District website, www.d181.org. Below is information regarding student expectations for remote instruction. Links and additional information will be sent by your child's teacher.

Please stay tuned to our website, Twitter, and email communications for any further news or announcements.

Thank you for your support as we work through challenging weather conditions this year.
