Dynamic Learning Maps - Alternative Assessment (DLM-AA)
Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM-AA) Alternate Assessment is provided to students who are not eligible to take the Illinois Assessment of Readiness or the SAT in grades 3-12. This assessment meets the federal requirement for measuring the learning of cognitively impaired students.

DLM Performance Level Descriptions:

Level 1 - EMERGING: The student demonstrates an emerging understanding of and ability to apply content knowledge and skills represented by Essential Elements.

Level 2 - APPROACHING TARGET: The students' understanding of and ability to apply targeted content knowledge and skills represented by the Essential Elements is approaching the target.

Level 3 - AT TARGET: The students understanding of and ability to apply content Knowledge and Skills represented by the Essential Elements is at target.

Level 4 - ADVANCED: The student demonstrates advanced understanding of and ability to apply targeted content knowledge and skills represented by the Essential Elements.

Level 9 - Not Tested (Verify the Reason for No Valid Test Attempt in Column T)
