THE SPARTAN STAR Our new HMS school newspaper is The Spartan Star! You can sign up for it in Google Classroom on any Home Base day. Your advisor will give you the Google Classroom code.
GIRLS BASKETBALL Congrats to the 7th grade Lady Spartans on their 42-22 victory over Jackson Middle School in the conference semi-final game. The 7th graders advance to the conference championship game on Friday against Bryan Middle School. Congrats also to the 8th grade Lady Spartans for their 29-26 victory over Clarendon Hills Middle School in the conference semi-final game. The 8th graders advance to the championship game on Friday against Bryan Middle School. Good luck on Friday Lady Spartans! GO Spartans!
SOUND OF MUSIC HMS is proud to present the classic musical, The Sound of Music, on November 29 & 30 and December 1. This retelling of an Austrian family's escape from the Nazi invasion in WWII is full of fantastic songs and acting. Tickets are on sale during lunches and are $7 for students and $9 for adults. Hope to see you there!
