THE LANE ELEMENTARY

Community Consolidated School District 181

About The Lane School

The Lane School is proud to be a U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon School. Built in 1956, The Lane is home to the Bulldogs, an exemplary teaching staff and a supportive school community. We often refer to ourselves as The Lane School Family, and it is our desire that all who enter our doors experience the intimate and welcoming atmosphere that makes our school so special!

A Message from Principal Todd:

I am excited to begin my sixth year as Principal at The Lane School. That makes it the school district I have worked at the longest of my career. Our tremendous students are a huge reason I originally sought a position in District 181. That combined with the collaboration with staff and parents is a large part of why I continue to be passionate about this position today.

The Lane School mission remains rooted in our student-created Lane School D.I.G.N.I.T.Y. pledge: Today I will show Lane School D.I.G.N.I.T.Y. by:

Doing my best and working and working hard
Inspiring others
Giving my best effort
Never giving up
Including others and
Treating everyone with respect and kindness, but most of all...
You must work hard and have a great day!

Your partner in education,

Mr. Brandon Todd
The Lane School Principal
