Registration Fee

Registration fees will be approved at the D181 Board meeting on January 27, 2025

Residency Verification/Health Requirements

To show residency within the District, the person with whom the student lives in the District and who claims custody of the student must present documents as described below. If the person enrolling the student claims the student is homeless or attending school in the student’s former district upon the determination of the Department of Children and Family Services, only the appropriate items in Category Three must be presented. Please note that parents must also provide a certified copy of the child's birth certificate.

Fee payments

Payments are expected at the time of registration. If you have unpaid fees from the 2024-25 school year, these will need to be paid in full along with the 2025-26 fees.

Free School Lunches

Children need healthy meals to learn. Community Consolidated School District 181 offers healthy meals every school day at our middle schools. Your children may qualify for free meals or for reduced price meals. If you would like to apply for free or reduced-price meals and financial assistance, complete the Household Eligibility Application, which is in Skyward Family Access on the 'Food Service' Menu page.

Transportation

Students must register by June 20, 2025, to ensure uninterrupted transportation services. First Student, the District's transportation provider, requires finalized transportation details by mid-july for planning purposes. Register by June 20, 2025 to avoid disruptions.
