Summer Learning, Extended School Year, Time to Shine, Math Camp: June 9 - June 27, 2025

Summer Learning Program
District 181 is excited to offer enriching summer learning opportunities for students! All District 181 students, as well as age-appropriate students from outside the district, are welcome to participate.
Registration
Registration for the 2025 Summer Learning Program will open for current D181 families March 28, 2025. Open registration for families not enrolled with D181 will begin shortly after. Registration will close in mid-spring. Students are not considered registered until full payment is received.
Dates and Location
Classes will be held in person at Clarendon Hills Middle School, Monday through Friday, June 9 - June 27, 2025.
Cost
- One-hour class: Costs will be decided and posted here before registration begins.
- Two-hour class: Costs will be decided and posted here before registration begins.
Grade Levels
Students should have completed the indicated grade level by the first day of class and will only be able to register for their appropriate grade-level courses.
Health Concerns
If your child has health concerns, please email the Summer School Nurses [contact information below] with details.
Closings/Cancellations
Please finalize your summer plans before registering, as no refunds will be given. Classes will close when maximum enrollment is reached and may be canceled if minimum enrollment is not met. Registrants will be notified of cancellations and offered an opportunity to register for another class. No refunds will be given unless a class is closed or canceled. There will be no make-up days for any reason.

Extended School Year
Extended School Year is a grant-funded 2-hour program for students who receive Special Education support during the school year, and who have ESY included in their IEPs. District 181 students eligible for ESY through their IEP will be registered individually by their Case Manager and Pupil Services Administrator.
- Because ESY is included in students’ IEPs, there is no fee for participation.
- There will be 2 sessions of ESY this summer:
- 8:00 - 10:00 am
- 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Math Bridge
Math Bridge is a parent-funded 2-hour program for students who have met initial requirements to move up an instructional level in math.
- Students are invited to participate and there is a fee for participation.
- Students will be grouped into virtual and in-person classes.
- There will be 3 sessions of Math Bridge this summer:
- 8-10am (Bridge A, B, and all virtual sections)
- 9-11am (Bridge 5A - 8)
- 10-12pm (Bridge A, B, and Bridge 1 - 4).

Time to Shine
Time to Shine is a grant-funded 1-hour program for students who receive Tier 2 or Tier 3 reading support throughout the school year.
- Students are invited to participate and there is no fee for participation.
- There will be 2 sessions of Time to Shine this summer:
- 9:00 - 10:00 am
- 10:00 - 11:00 am
Math Camp
Math Camp is a grant-funded 1-hour program for students who receive Tier 2 or Tier 3 math support throughout the school year.
- Students are invited to participate and there is no fee for participation.
- There will be 2 sessions of Math Camp this summer:
- 9:00 -10:00 am
- 10:00 -11:00 am
