Our District
District 181 strives to provide a premier educational experience that teaches students to be critical thinkers and enables them to achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally. Serving Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, as well as parts of Burr Ridge, Oak Brook & Willowbrook.

Through collaboration between all D181 departments, our staff supports the important work that goes on in the District’s classrooms. Board of Education
The Board of Education of Community Consolidated School District 181 is comprised of seven members elected by the community to fulfill its powers and duties on behalf of the District.

School Improvement Plans

The mission of D181 is to provide a premier educational experience that teaches students to be critical thinkers and enables them to achieve their full potential - academically, socially, and emotionally.

One way that we are working to achieve this mission is through the School Improvement Plan (SIP) process. Leadership teams at each building utilize data to determine how and where to focus resources in order to achieve the goals outlined in the SIP. Our plans outline building, grade-level, and subgroup-level goals, strategies for professional development and improvement, as well as opportunities to evaluate progress.

We invite parents/guardians and community members to review the plans to learn out our efforts to achieve our mission and help our students grow.
