Madeleine Will has been a national advocate in Washington D.C. for persons with disabilities for over three decades. She will be speaking on the journey since IDEA, statistics regarding children with disabilities in high school, the outlook for those entering or graduating from college today, and what parents can do to help their children live a more fulfilling life. Ms. Will will present "Making a Difference" on April 22 at Lake Hinsdale Village (9:30am and 7pm). This event is a collaborative effort between District 181 and Hinsdale Township High School District 86.
District 181 is inviting community members to participate in events on April 21 and 22 around the vision for technology in District 181 schools. Internationally recognized education technology integration expert Ian Jukes will facilitate a series of presentations followed by a community-wide collaboration session.
