Providing Support

The District 181 Foundation was established in 1997 for the purpose of supporting initiatives that benefit the district students and are not or cannot be funded by tax revenues. The Foundation is an independent, community based, not-for-profit corporation. History Alive! Illinois Collections From A to Z
Walker School and our community will bring Illinois’ history alive! The District 181 Foundation has graciously selected Walker School to receive a grant during the 2010-2011 school year.  In our library, we will showcase an educational collection of Illinois artifacts and creative student and community artwork.
