Message From The Principal

As we begin a new chapter in the story of The Lane I am confident that the accomplishments of the past will propel us forward.  On this new journey together, you will find my philosophy of school leadership to be one that emphasizes student safety as a top priority.  You can expect me to model, foster and encourage open channels communication between school and home.  Additionally, my priorities are to serve as an instructional leader who places significant focus on the implementation of individualized, engaging student instruction, with increased achievement and school improvement as the end goal.
 
The beginning of a new school year always brings with it, great excitement and optimism.  There is something infectious about a clean school, new clothes, new faces and energy surrounding the beginning of a new year. Through positive collaboration and open channels of communication, we can carry this same excitement through the entire school year.  Please know that my door is always open and welcoming of your feedback and support.
 
I am humbled by the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful learning community.  The 2012-13 school year promises to be an adventure full of great learning and fun!
