Welcome to Clarendon Hills Middle School

Message from the Principal

Clarendon Hills Middle School (CHMS), Home of the Eagles, opened its doors in September of 2000. The school currently serves over 650 6th, 7th and 8th grade students and is consistently ranked as one of the top middle schools in Illinois.  We pride ourselves by being respectful to each other, encouraging all students to get involved in school activities, minimizing our impact on the environment by reducing, reusing and finally recycling, caring about less fortunate members of our communities through service, and collaborating with our parents, village leaders and community members to provide a comprehensive education that supports growth in both the academic and socio-emotional domains.  Our graduates are prepared for the high school of their choosing and beyond.  Many former students return and inform us that CHMS was a wonderful, memorable time in their lives.
There is something special and unique about our school.  CHMS is an amazing school community with the greatest kids, most supportive parents, and the very best staff.
