Food Service Plan Highlights for CHMS & HMS

• We have incorporated all whole wheat/whole grain products, breads, rolls, pizza crust, rice, pasta and cookies
• The French fries served are made from Yukon Gold Potatoes, baked- never fried.
• The deep fat fryers are not used for any food production.
• All disposables used for students and staff are “eco-friendly andbio-degradable. See attached recycling program highlights.
• Our $3.50 lunch meal includes choice of any entrée, two sides and milk. Daily entrees include choice of: Father & Son Pizza (variety), cheeseburgers, whole grain bosco cheese sticks, chicken tenders, deli bar-made to order; with choice of meats, breads, toppings and sauces, salad bowl- made to order; choice of lettuces, toppings, meats and dressings, pre-made deli sandwiches, pre-made salads, 3 daily entrée specials and chicken sandwiches. Choice of sides include: daily specials, veggie sticks, oven baked fries, whole fresh fruit and fruit cups.
• We offer 100% frozen fruit juice drinks, white and chocolate organic milk, 100% fruit juices, and bottled water.
• We bake fresh daily; whole grain reduced fat Otis Spunkmeyer Chocolate Chip Cookies.
• We offer a complete selection of baked chips, low sugar granola bars, organic snack bars and 100 calorie snacks.
• We offer students low fat and fat free ice cream novelties.
• Our Chef makes homemade soup daily, served with whole wheat crackers.
• Our jumbo hot pretzels are whole wheat.
