District Assessment
Community Consolidated School District 181 has established and maintains a standardized testing program. This program lends itself to:
- An assessment of the educational programs using quantitative and qualitative data;
- Reporting the overall status of District 181 pupils, charting the growth of its students, in each school from year to year;
- Interpretation and use by the teachers, administrators and School Improvement Teams to develop a high quality curriculum
Illinois Standards Achievement Tests
The Illinois Standards Achievement Tests (ISAT) are mandated by the State of Illinois. These assessments measure how well our students are performing on Illinois goals and standards. The implementation of Common Core State Standards is affecting the change in ISAT scoring, and the assessment itself will be changing in the 2014-15 school year. Click the links below for a letter regarding this change from Superintendent Dr. Renée Schuster, Frequently Asked Questions prepared by the Illinois State Board of Education, and a presentation outlining these changes, given during the February 11, 2013 Board of Education meeting.
