Mission of the Pupil Services Department

The Pupil Services Team will build the capacity of our staff to deliver curriculum, instruction and support services that ensure students with unique learning needs achieve district performance targets.

About Dr. Kurt Schneider

Dr. Schneider is the Assistant Superintendent for Pupil Services for District 181. He also serves as adjunct professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison teaching educational equity and social justice courses within the Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis Department.  Previously, he served as Director of Student Services; in Stoughton, Wisconsin, was a teaching assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison instructing pre-service undergraduate/graduate special education methods courses, and was a project assistant collaborating with urban high schools on inclusive service delivery restructuring efforts.  Dr. Schneider has also served as a high school special education teacher (inclusion facilitator).
