Community Engagement meetings hosted by Superintendent Renée Schuster provide District 181 residents and staff the opportunity to:
- Learn about new initiatives
- Review financial information
- Share thoughts and opinions
The first Community Engagement meeting of 2011-12 was October 18, 2011. The 90-minute session began with a review of District 181 finances. Participants then visited three classrooms where staff demonstrated the use of technology in teaching. Displays in the Multi-Purpose Room also highlighted technology used to support instruction.
Community Engagement meetings were first held by Dr. Schuster during the 2010-11 school year. She hosted a total of four sessions, two in the fall and two in the spring. An overview of those sessions is available on the Superintendent’s Page.
